Meet Spotta’s newest team members – Arron Rodrigues and Lily Dixon.
Both Arron and Lily join the team to focus on growing the presence for our existing solutions for the accommodation, forestry and agricultural industries, as well as to explore new markets for the exciting pest monitoring solutions we have in our pipeline.
After seven years as an Innovation Consultant at global firm Innovia Technology where he worked on some of the world’s best-known brands, Arron joins as our Head of Growth.
His experience covers a diverse range of industries including agriculture, food, luxury goods, medical, pharmaceutical, and surgical. Combined with his Manufacturing Engineering degree at the University of Cambridge, this makes him well placed for leading our journey from taking products from ideas and creation through to the customers’ hands.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining Spotta with upcoming product launches as well as the Bed Pod continuing to roll out to global hospitality markets as the world reopens,” says Arron. “Our smart solutions straddle so many companies and geographies - and tackle insect pest problems that are costly and cause inefficiencies. I’m looking forward to helping to expand Spotta’s reach globally.”
“After completing her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, Lily joined Innovia Technology as an Innovation Consultant. Her four years as a consultant saw her work across multiple industries as an R&D project manager and business development manager. Building on her experience collaborating with senior stakeholders from leading global brands, Lily will be managing relationships with customers across Spotta's portfolio. She joins us as our Growth Executive.
"Innovation is something I’m passionate about and it’s at the heart of Spotta,” says Lily. “Being able to help the company grow its markets for existing products and exploring new opportunities for upcoming products is something I’m looking forward to.”
Co-founder and CEO Robert Fryers welcomes the new team members: “Arron and Lily both bring in-depth technical knowledge alongside a personable, yet efficient, approach to business. They had crossed paths at their previous workplace so have stepped easily into their new roles and are already bringing promising results. We’re delighted to have them on board as we continue to grow our global customer base and bring onboard new systems which utilise our technology to improve pest management and treatment efficiencies.”
